Our impact
Stories, evidence and the difference your support makes.
What change looks like
A child may come to us having been out of education for months, sometimes longer — wary of adults, overwhelmed by the ordinary demands of a classroom, and convinced that learning is not for them. There is rarely a quick fix, and we do not look for one.
Instead, change begins quietly: a child who will stay in the room a little longer, who risks a question, who lets an adult help. In time, that safety becomes trust, and trust makes learning possible again. Progress is not always linear, but the direction is unmistakable — a child rebuilding their belief that they belong, and that they can.
We are gathering the stories of the children and families we work with, shared with their consent and fully anonymised. They will appear here as our work grows.
Safety first, then trust, then learning — a sequence grounded in how the traumatised brain works.
Our case for support sets out exactly what your funding would achieve.
